The  summer /  vocational  training  is  part  of  the  curriculum.  Placement  and Training Cell, NIT Patna arranges the Summer Training of Final and Pre-Final year          Engineering  Students    of       Civil         Engineering,      Electrical     Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering and Mechanical Engineering during the summer vacation in the months of June and July every year for a period of six weeks in different reputed organizations all over India.

The  Industrial  Projects  and  Visits  to  different  Industrial  Organizations  are arranged  from  Second  year  onwards  for  all  the  Engineering  and  Architecture Students, mostly in the months of January and February, or immediately after the completion of their course curriculum.
